Know anyone who really wants a project bike?
Or maybe needs a whole parts bike?
Sadly being a guy who is known for working on bikes (and cars) is not always rewarding.
And there are those who want to give you things or tell you about some bike they saw that looks like it could run with a little TLC.
This falls into many of those categories.

1985 Honda Aspencade Goldwing.
It ran about 3 years ago, then developed issues that the past owner had no clue how to fix. So he parked it.

It needs; the ignition system gone through. It has a week spark and it the timing controller looks to be the issue. Plus timing belts, rear tire, rear brakes, fluids changed and a new seat (or recovering).

These days the Goldwing market is very down. As parts get harder to find, no one really wants to deal with them. Including me.

So, make me a reasonable offer and come and get it.

I just was offered an 84 and 85 Goldwing, both for $1500, I passed.

Tripps; that's it in a nutshell. Talking with a local Goldwing specialist about getting the parts needed, he said last year by the end of summer he had sold 10 used Goldwings for good prices. This year he's sold 2.
The other down side is finding a spark controller (one of the main parts giving out on this thing). I've been quoted from $150 for a questionable used one to $1000 for a new-in-box unit.

The bike did come with a match painted Bushtec trailer. I am almost willing to put it up for $1000 and have it come with a free Goldwing. :p
But I am thinking I want the trailer for touring behind Trixie.

Lmao.....I'll give you that. I guess after she eats all that stuff she can have a nap on the wing.....seats remind me of a comfy couch.
