Thanks for all the positive comments. The best offer I had last summer was $1500. I'm hoping for better luck this spring.
I'd love to just keep the thing after I spent all the time and money getting it 'right'. I rode this bike everywhere in college with a really ugly old 'king & queen' seat, and lusted after that Corbin. Now that I could afford it and spent the money on it, I find I have moved on. The Rocket is a little trickier to handle at low speeds and doesn't do anywhere near as well off-road, but has it beat in every other category. I just never have the desire to ride the GL anymore. 70mph on the GL feels like 120 on the Rocket, and takes about as long to get there. Admittedly it is fun the wring the engine up to 9 grand, and the flat 4 sounds great up there, but I love the effortlessness in the way the Rocket moves.
