After 1 year and 8600mi I'm getting close to my 10K service and since I'm finally getting my EasyRizer big blue lift I have decided to do that myself. It doesn't entail anything I have no done before at some point on other bikes other than throttle body balancing. According to the manual it requires the Triumph diagnostic tool to balance the throttle bodies unless there is another way that I don't know about. If I have to I'll take it to the dealer but rather not.

If you're inclined to do it you can, although compared to the 2.3s it is definitely more of a PIA. Here's what you need to know, but you will want to follow along in the manual, as well. Use the one I submitted with the searchable feature here....

Thanks, what about the throttle body balancing?

can use Tune ECU, make sure bike is warmed up before checking/adjusting.

It's a relatively simple procedure, but with a with a good amount of disassembly to even get to it. I bought the dealer tool OBD dongle and SW a few years back (I think before TuneECU had the capability). I had the dealer do my 10k mile service and I can't recall if they had to change anything, but I did the 30k service myself (also using a big blue lift) and when I hooked up the dealer tool, all three throttle bodies were flowing within spec so I didn't have to tweak anything. Definitely use one of the tools to check the results before you go through all of the disassembly trouble.
