It doesn't entail anything I have no done before at some point on other bikes other than throttle body balancing. According to the manual it requires the Triumph diagnostic tool to balance the throttle bodies unless there is another way that I don't know about. If I have to I'll take it to the dealer but rather not.

It's a relatively simple procedure, but with a with a good amount of disassembly to even get to it. I bought the dealer tool OBD dongle and SW a few years back (I think before TuneECU had the capability). I had the dealer do my 10k mile service and I can't recall if they had to change anything, but I did the 30k service myself (also using a big blue lift) and when I hooked up the dealer tool, all three throttle bodies were flowing within spec so I didn't have to tweak anything. Definitely use one of the tools to check the results before you go through all of the disassembly trouble.
