10" rear wheel

It is not a problem making a wheel wider and bigger dia, check out the DEGET website  it has been being done for years

Shockingly, the vmax OEM rear wheel is only 3.5" wide, so the maxers make it wider and taller so that it will take a modern radial tire.

The more adventerous guys also notch out the swingarm where the tire meets and then reinforce it elsewhere so that they can get a respectably wide tire on the back.

I was looking into it so that I could put a car tire in the rear of the max, but it's not cheap. I was looking at about $1,500.00 to get a modified wheel, which kind of detracted from the cool factor a bit.

Also notching out the swingarm is no big issue either, the Vmax guys have been doing it for years.
Looks like i have come along right in the nick of time

Notching R3 swingarm is very easy job, will not need strenthening
BST could make a nice wheel up, I've heard they do specials.

We've always known you were "special" Les.

When is your latest incarnation going to be ready mate?

245

Hi,
I have a 245/50-16 federal S595. The drive shaft case/cover is already scalloped... the stock tire would rub if it wasn't. I had to remove the Rivco chrome drive shaft cover, the front retainer spring was rubbing the tire. There is maybe 1/4 inch clearance. MAYBE. So, I can get a tire that measures 9.8 inches section width.
