Hi, This is Dain with Triple D Racing. Had a customer ask me to do an exhaust for him, but he wants a Roadster put on his classic. I told him I would do a search for him and let him know. Well it seams it is easier then I thought. There is only 4 parts needed to convert to my Roadster set-up...
It finally happened, my 19 year streak of no major accidents is over. This lady pulled in front of me and her car stalled (I think) and I couldnt swerve around her in time. Just found out today the bike is totaled. So I have a decision to make. This is her insurance company's email from this...
Looking for a "like new" fuel tank that will fit a 2007 R3 Classic. Don't mind a few scratches; just don't want any dents. Would prefer not to have to pay for a brand new one.
I am selling my RIII Classic. It is a great bike, is running well, and has served me faithfully for nearly 10 years.
It has:
Update kit
LED Headlights
Progressive 440 HD rear shocks
Progressive front springs
Triple K&N filters
Cat bypass
Custom dyno tune by PowerTripp. (This is the tune that...
Want to sell my 2007 Rocket III Classic, 7371 miles. This Rocket has custom yellow paint with gold ghost flames, full Jardine exhaust with wrapped header, Progressive 444 shocks, Progressive fork springs, roadster screen, lower deflectors, detachable saddlebags, touring seat with rider backrest...
I installed the Ramair last weekend and have not ridden since. I'm hoping someone has a tune to get me started. I have the Dain slip on, so no cat.
I've got Tuneecu and a working cable, I have been running the
2005DynoFinalMap_TOR_Catbypass_Decel2 file I think I downloaded from the Tune ECU...
I started looking into seat options for my 07 Classic. I looked at Corbin (I have 2 corbins for my other bike), but my wife says its not good for her. I also looke atthe Mustangs but it seems everything is either for a touring edition or specifies 08 and up. Whats out ther for a 2007 Classic?
What's everybody's opinion on seating options for the Roadster? Stock Roadster 2 part seat, Roadster Gel Seat, Classic seat, Long haul touring gel seat?
I currently ride a 07 classic, I have a dual seat with rider back rest but I prefer the touring seat I know theyou aren't compatible but was wondering if anybody had some photos of the touring mounting brackets on the seat and bikeb
Bought new this past winter for $170. Opened box, verified contents but never used them. My reach is either fine as is or I am not riding enough to notice (sad I know). Hopefully someone can use them and I can get some of my money back. Happy to ship international if someone is interested...
After a long ride--I inadvertantly left ignition switch on..key was off..sat for several hours. went out and wouldnt turn over at all..lights had dim glow--no instruments at all. pulled a boner and while hooking up cables from my truck--did it bass akwards..pos to neg..nothing...then checked...
I have an R3 classic 2009 with 3 pipes [2 one side and one the other] does anyone reckon that I could replace these with one exhaust either side like the roadster/tourer to make the back end symmetrical?
Mrs. Having to give up riding long journeys so it's the back of the beast for long trip coming soon.
Triumph want £325 and another £100 for the pad FFS.
Anyone got good alternative?
Thanks in anticipation
Sooo...I finally decided to ditch the stock triumph leather bags and put some fiberglass hard bags on the back and a fiberglass fairing on the front.
I picked up these bags for $300.00 US . They are made fror a VTX and the local guy I got them from used to have them on his Victor Kingpin...
My R3 classic has started to not start. The battery is charged and the clock says the right time. I put the key in and turn it to the start position expecting it to light up the dials and push the petrol gauge dial around and back down and make that reassuring whirring BUT it appears to be dead...
I have a 2007 Classic. All I have to say is the crash bars are crap and I can't even begin to tell you how easy they bend. Is there a new version that is a lot stronger that will actually hold my feet on the highway pegs. If there is something that does exist where can I get them? Thank you so much.
(Yours truly on a recent trip to Spain)
Proud owner of a 2008 classic which I LOVE:).
Really in to classic London 1960's mods & rockers culture....and I am just about old enough to remember it first time around but only as a young spectator.
I have been riding since I was 16 and love everything...

Symptoms started at the start of the week when my rear left indicator stopped working, I assumed the single bulb had blown and so didn't...
