Would love and, but.......

Hey, I like my trailer:evil::D

I surely wasn't criticizing your trailer, Amigo.
Just your unfounded criticism of Progressive.
NO motor shocks are designed for what you do.
BTW - I wouldn't mind seeing a couple pixs of your whole rig ready to travel,
if you be of a mind.

Progressives are worthless. They are softer than stock. I bought a pair of used Harley air shocks on eBay. Having trouble with getting a bushing. Harley shock eyelets are small. Id on them is 1/2" R3 is 5/8. Harley Od is only about 1". It will have to be a custom made Bushing.

I agree, I tried them on mulitple bikes, never again

You guys have no idea. I have a great peranese mixed and chocolate lab I plan to tow. Picture the xl petsmart dog kennel on top of my rig. Sweet. Electric brakes on trailer means unlimited potential. Lol

Progressive 444 HD's are great shocks, but they're not made to handle 400+ lb or some such two up load, a massive trunk probably also full of stuff plus a trailer in addition to that.

They work beautifully for me, anyway, one of the best upgrades I've done to the bike.

But if you're going to load it way the heck up and add a trailer, calculate the actual load and contact someone like Hagon or someone else who builds shocks to spec and get them sized for that.

As for ABS, yeah there is a fair bit of work to re-fit everything but it's doable. I'd do it if I could find an ABS bike for reasonable money, but no bike over here is reasonable when it comes to cost. Plus, I do like my black/red color scheme, nicest one they ever made on the R3T.

I'm partial to my black and red as well. The main reason I bought the 2008 model.
