Off to strip the front end down as the Maxton cartridges should arrive today. Local Suspension shop on standby. They'll do them on the fly while I wait - an hour. Long weekend ahead so time to install without rushing.
Good luck! Take plenty of photos along the way and see if the shop will let you snap a few while they're at it.

Bugger - UPS got to me late and local Suspension place is SWAMPED today (Friday) as there are several MX comp's about.
Regular Customers take Priority - that's fair.
Long Weekend - so fitting Tuesday.

I'm curious to hear how this works out once you get on the road. What are these, the GP30 cartridges, I guess?

Good luck with the project. Measure the spring wire diameter, the spring O.D, and count the number of active coils. With that you can let us know the spring rate they have supplied to you. Did they also give you the quantity of oil and weight to use in each fork or do you need to determine that on your own?

A road test report would be nice too!

As each set is made to the individuals weight and riding style I suppose it varies a bit

My Spring 1kg/mm Preload 30mm.
They suggest SAE 5
Specified AIRGAP for the oilfill. 170mm without springs and spacers.

I'm taking them to see Maxton for the road test. Seem fair?
