R3 Orlder & New model frames Frames Correct me if I am wrong.

Because I have been having trouble finding what I want for my new (2023) R3, I have been searching the internet. I found pictures of both the pre2019, & post2000 main Frames. To my eye, they are the same frames. What I want is a pair of crash bars. Normally that is the first thing I buy, but every dealer I talked to just said "They don't make them" . Am I off base ?? Seems logical to me that they would use as many of the older parts , and not have to pay the cost of engeering new ones. I would appricate the input.
If this pans out I will fill everyone in on specifics.
