Is a "pain in the a$$ that won't ever grow up" the definition of a hooligan?? Because that quotation gets pointed out to me during certain times of the year...

I was taking the family out for dinner last Sunday and naturally I was the first one at the door and waiting...and waiting...and waiting........
So I took the roadster around the block for the first time in a while and then I took the Bonnie out of the garage and did the carb dance with her and slowly brought her back to life after her hibernation ( I still love a carb'd bike!). Bonnie eventually fired up like the faithful old girl she is and I threw my arms up with joy and laughed out loud. After all these decades of riding and that first moment is still a thrill of the hibernation start up!!

Then I realized WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE GOING TO DINNER!!! So in a fit of great annoyance I looked around me to see what the heck is going on and where everyone is!! Then I looked over to our car in the driveway, less than four feet away from...my whole family staring out the car at me!! My wife's look was quite precious to say the least so I did what anyone else in here would do...I held up my index finger up in the "hold on one sec" gesture and told the family that I needed to take Bonnie around the block and test her too. Responsible ownership and all....

Agreed! I know that we are talking about a gender issue...not a nationality one. My wife is Japanese and for 24 years now there have been times I looked at her like an inquisitive dog as she spoke expletives that I did not understand but in accordance with tone and body language....my guess was that it wasn't good...

Spanish is a wonderful language to curse in. i.e Me cago en tu puta madre, gillipollas de mierda. Ask the missus.
