Widow maker journey to the 200hp club

Looking really good Kevin. I’m thinking you’re going to need some of these-
Finned Heat Shield - 6 inch
They are aluminum so should dissipate heat, and they could be anodized if we could decide on a good color for you...GRIN.
I think youre right that collector gets warm idleing in the city traffic, but that jet hot works real good, should have gotten extreme coating on header though, but it’s comfortable and you can touch and not blister immediately

You saw what my pipes looked like, not that far from yours, and I took them to jet hot too, If I had put those on a year ago they would’ve paid for themselves just considering the pant legs saved. Single wall pipes get hot.
On the subject, have you heard of aerogel? Look it up, amazing stuff. I got some extra if you want to try it under a heat shield.

I think @mexican got a picture of a bigger speaker than what you have on his bike

If you were to take yours when i do, i could give you a ride home and pick you up when theyre done, my route was to Louisville every night for the last year w fedex so i know what im suggesting if you are in Louisville, its not a problem. Conrad the tuner will nail it, old german fella who has been doing this a long time and happy not to use power commander. If you have power commander should be any shop that can do it round you. Ofcourse he does power commander 20 plus years at boswell harley i believe he has been doing his own thing for probably 15 or 20 more. TNT powersports tuning Lebanon tn. If i can help, happy too. Im furloughed RoadTrip
Thank you for information and your outstanding hospitable offer. Your tuner sounds like the real thing, and probably will be the way I go. But don't wait on me, haven't fired the bike yet, hope to get there in the next day or two, but still will need to make adjustments, break in miles etc.. When I get closer I will reach out to you for name and number. Would trailer down, so no problem going home and returning when completed. Prefer Tune ECU. Again thanks for outstanding offer. Gerald
