I don't think the tool kit would very useful on the road. So far the only video I have found on changing Rocket 3 plugs they had to rig up the spark plug wrench with an extension and duct tape to make it work. Even if the manufacturer includes tools I don't think they believe many people will even try to use the before calling the dealer.

I think you're right, hence the useless enclosed crap. For those wanting better they can either make up one on their own or buy a decent ready made setup that you can actually work with.

Thats what I did.
 
Why does Triumph not include basic repair tools for the Rocket. The tools in there are next to worthless. I had to rig the spark plug wrench to make it long enough to pull a plug and where in heck do you find the right tool to remove the wheel axles? I managed to rig a tool to do the job but, ****.
The front wheel needs a 3/4" or 19mm hex to fit in the axle. The rear is .550" (across flats), or a 3/8 bolt with a bunch of 3/8" nuts
