Why, oh why...

Pull a road trip with @warp9.9 ...the reason he needs all the extra horsepower from carpenter is to haul around the mini machine shop he keeps under the seat :roll::roll:

I don't think the tool kit would very useful on the road. So far the only video I have found on changing Rocket 3 plugs they had to rig up the spark plug wrench with an extension and duct tape to make it work. Even if the manufacturer includes tools I don't think they believe many people will even try to use the before calling the dealer.

When I change my plugs I use the supplied spark plug socket and the hex wrench. However I use small needle nose pliers to pull the loose plug and socket out. It would be hard to get it out without needle nose pliers. I have used my pinky to remove it but not everyones pinkys are the same size. I also use the pliers to carefully insert the plug and wrench inside the hole for installation. I get paranoid about dropping the plug in and accidentally close up the spark plug gap.

If you slip the appropriate size vacuum hose on the spark plug tip you can cut the hose to whatever length you need & use it to also "start" the threads of the plug by turning it. Like a boss

Why does Triumph not include basic repair tools for the Rocket. The tools in there are next to worthless. I had to rig the spark plug wrench to make it long enough to pull a plug and where in heck do you find the right tool to remove the wheel axles? I managed to rig a tool to do the job but, ****.
The double sized socket wrench in the kit will work for the removal of the rear wheel if you insert the smaller of the sockets into the axle from the left side (on my R3T anyway). Don't know about the front wheel yet.
