Who is senior Captain?

Nov. 28, 2005 A little over 34k. I think that I'll keep her till the end, like Tomo, but will prob. look for something else soon to be the beat around ride.

You beat me by a few days, Brit. I rode mine home from Asheville, freezing all the way, but smiling.

I took delivery of mine on Oct. 13, 2004. It has over 35'500 miles (and is up for sale @ the local Triumph dealership).

Best. Jamie

Are you getting something else? I was just at the dealer's looking to trade for a new Bonneville. The standard won't work - too uncomfortable. Possibly the America. I'm going to drive one tomorrow. He wants me to test drive a T-Bird. I don't see the point.

Dec 31, 2006.. as a demo with a build date of July 2004 with 123 miles on it. 47,000+ miles later and still truckin' along. Dang! My bike is 5 years old! My Trophy is 9 years old!.. lol

Yes. I took delivery of a 1700cc V-Max, as already confessed here. But I am still the legal owner of the Rocket, for at least another 2 weeks. Hence my continuing to post here:p

Suggest you give the T-Bird a good try. A very capable mount IMO. If it only had a bit more power. I had the dealer's demo unit on loan to me for half a day... But my mind was already set on the V-Max. Best. Jamie

Looks like we have a winner

So far it looks like Toystoretom has the time in grade and gets the extra service hash mark with a date of September 29, 2004. Should some type of sex or morals scandal erupt and Tom could no longer hold the title of Senior Captain, Jamie is only a month behind with a date of October 13, 2004, but the Green Machine is up for sale. Dougl would have to step up with a close November 30, 2004.

I started this thread because I was cleaning up and sorting my bike paperwork and found my bill of sale. I can't believe how long I have owned and still enjoy riding this motorcycle. I too will probably hold on to the FBG for quite awhile unless a 2500 does come into the picture. Sadly, I have ridden very little this summer because of work and other obligations. There should be over 20k on the odometer if I can get at least one good trip in before the bad weather comes.
