Which wire to tap for switched power?

Thanks Barbagris for the suggestion on the Junior Timer plug! I ordered the part from the UK and it came in yesterday.... Plug fits perfectly. Came with the terminals, boot and everything I needed so I put it together yesterday to lineup with the brown/pink wire... Tomorrow, all wiring will be complete and then I just have to wait 3 months for winter to end! YAY!
Oddly - I moved my relay trigger wire to use this plug today. Note that it will switch the relay off if you hit the engine kill switch in the right switch cluster.

Any reason why that would be a concern? Seems handy to me for equipment to turn off if the kill switch is hit...

Not really no - though it was useful to be able to debug some stuff with the kill switch off - yet have the AUX circuits live. Things like GPS sensors can take a while to come online with a "cold start" that sort of thing.

On my bike the accessories came on with the ignition, with the kill switch in or off. When I took the key out the bike it took 1 minute for the accessories to turn off automatically. They didn't turn off immediately but only after a minute

Odd - mine die on the spot.
