East coast takes forever to ride ... every corner you go round is another spectacular view. Demands you stop and take a photo of your bike all packed up with the view in the background ... it's f#ckin annoying and very time consuming :p
Yeah but you want to do it all over again:cool: as soon as you hit the mainland and Melbourne Traffic:eek:

Most Rocket's

Mate yes ex Victorian, yes it does have some spectacular scenery roads to ride, but so does every state, just depends where you going and who knows where to go. But in all honesty as long as I'm riding I don't care, that is as long as I'm not hungry or thirsty.

However I do want to get Cathy and spend 4 or 5 days on the Great Ocean Road, now that is the best ride for bikes and scenery in the country.

I beg to differ big fella ... Victorian/NSW high country and East Coast of Tasmania are more scenic and enjoyable to ride than the GOR ..which is only a fly**** behind them ... in my humble opinion. When we win the Lotto we better go and check them all out so there's no arguments mate :D

Having ridden all of the above a few times over there is always something different about them. There is scenery and then there is scenery. Problem with GOR is that on the weekends and pulic holidays it becomes a little crowded so I do it mid week, use an RDO. Note: its well policed most times. Some good roads around Jindabyne too.

Shut-up you blokes  .... we're just torturing each other .. hows about how the gum trees change as you get further up into the Snowies , went through there in this really light drissle once .. it was spectacular. I'll never forget that ride , just prowling through there real slow and enjoying every minute of it .

Too many koalas on the GOR. Jindabyne/Dalgety/Bombala anywhere in the south east high country for me.

Yeah we south coast NSW riders have some of the best mainland hilly twisty roads around but I must say I love Tassie everywhere east south west and north and being small it is all so close together

Tell you what .. we'll have some nice riding up in the hills when we all meet up in Nabiac at Easter . Some f#cin awesome roads around there ( shameless plug for our next shindig ;))
