Look guys, this is getting boring. Scot in Exile provided scientific proof that red is better and now Al has proven that black is really just undercoat. Move on. :):)

Hate to be the one that breaks the news but ... this may well go on till the end of time. Dead set the thing that i find amazing is that i still read the *$%^#@

Yeah but it's funny!!!:D:D:D

Now this has been fun watching the tag team regarding color.
But if you want to make it truly an international feel you may want to add a touch of gold and a racing stripe of New England White, as with the new 2013 R3T.

Now, three things to keep in mind:

1) I am in the states and so I do not count towards this top secret poll.
2) I am a relative newbie (who's bike now does work!) and so still claim lack of knowledge.
3) Gold, Black, and White are my wife and my wedding colors and so mess with the wife and she may be grabbing a flight for down under!

By the way, which area of Australia has the most beautiful riding?
I have never been there so I have no idea.
But I may get a chance if #3 on the list gets violated!

The next poll I would like to see is how many male and how many female riders there are among the R3 community.
Here in the states there has been a tremendous rise in ladies now riders and no longer just passengers.
And with the height and weight of the Rocket I was curious as to if many, or any, have become R3 Captains.

Just some thoughts.

God bless!!

Pretty much All of Auss has good touring areas, I have not been all the way around our spacious country but I would list Tasmania as my favourite state in that it is the smallest State in that windy roads are plentiful and it very picturecard like ... Very scenic, only the weather can be a bit iffy. Victoria has very nice roads up in the snowy areas and down by the sea (The Great Ocean Road) and generally quite nice state. South Auss, while I don't know it well I believe has some very nice roads up in the hill and in the wine country of the Barrosa Valley. Western Auss, it has been a long time since I was over there long overdue for a visit there again but the South West corner is magnificent and the hill east of Perth up in hill bring back goodemories as a kid swimming at Serpitine Falls and the roads always seemed to be in good repair (mind you i am going back a few years). Northern Territory, I have never been there and I best let someone like TC comment on it but up untill a few years ago it did not have a Speed Limit. Queensland is another State not to be missed as far as beautifull scenery and some great roads but I must say it is a toss up between Qld and NSW as to which has the worst road maintenance program some of them can be bone shakers. ACT also known as Australian Capital Tertitory while only very small has some nice twisty roads up in the forestory areas and into the foothills of the Brindabella Ranges. Last but not least my home state of New South Wales we like Qld have some fantastic scenery but let down by badly maintained in places roads our coastal roads are very scenic with roads going inland along the way going over the Great Dividing Range (some awesome mtn passes)in the southern region we also have acess to the snow country and the great roads up there.
I think that just about sums it up and I am sure or should I say I hope the guys from the other states will correct any omission's or mistakes

We have some awesome roads here in qld as Hanso said some can be a little iffy but shouldn't worry anyone not wearing a skirt . Give south Australia a miss mate too **** flat not many good roads there I grew up in the barrossa valley area and lived there for 26 years no good unless u like wine tasting lol

Hey Mitch look we in front of you guys and look and see who has joined us, don't be to hard on SA they kicked you out didn't they.

Yet to see a female riding a Rocket III . Hanso's spot on with his ' ride report' .. Tasmania get my vote as best riding / most scenic . Northern Territory did have open speed limits and older cops that weren't all that enthusiastic about enforcing road rules .That's all changed now... 130 kph limit on dead straight roads with young imported cops from elsewhere in Australia . Hundreds of klms between towns with sometimes stunning rugged scenery but mostly non-changing semi desert and Mitchell grass for days and days. North of Western Australia is much the same. Not a great choice of habitat if you like riding motorcycles through corners .

I'm blessed really. For a city, Canberra's about as good as it gets for erase of getting around and it's just a short hop (literally - 5 minutes) blast to get on some sensational twisty mountain roads from where I live. Road to the coast from here is a good 90 minute run and then there's some great riding around there. Major highways are bit dull these days but you can get to Sydney or Melbourne or Brisbane - anywhere really - without using them. Come and have look yourself! You won't regret it, no matter where you lob.

 Well i guess if u really have to go there :D The barrossa valley is nice and there is some good roads out there the adelaide hills gorge road chain of ponds and gumeracha is always a good ride and out towards victor harbour.

Sa is relatively flat compared to NSW an QLD though but their are some good roads what i mean is though if your making a special trip from over seas and u had to choose one destination i would definitely cross SA off the list for everything not just bike riding its good but everywhere els and anywhere else is better .
Im going back down in jan for a week can u feel my excitment
