I've studied the darkside videos. It's what is going on inside the tire that matters.
Here is a cutaway of a car tire. As you will see the belts in the tire are designed to keep the tire flat on curves. They are even reenforced. On a MC you would be riding up on the belt edge on heavy leans. That is the most common area of car tire falures. It's called belt edge seperation. Remember the Firestone 500. Pow! Plus, they blamed Firestone for the belt seperations on the Ford Explorers. I still think it was the vehicle, not the tire.

Yes...i agree the car tire will do better on dry stops.
