What to do ..What to do - looking at 'companion' complement bike

If you crave attention, then it's the Rune for sure.

If you prefer distinction and a truly different riding experience, you know it's gotta' be the CBX!;)

My own two cents is that this isn't even a contest, Allan.

Even though I have always marveled at the Rune (I've been riding with a Rune rider for the last 12 years or so), it also has to be considered to be in the same class of bike as our R3, i.e., it is a "bruiser cruiser" and, as such, I don't think that it will offer you much in the way of soul satisfaction over and above that which the big Triumph delivers in spades.

Vive' la difference! Whichever you choose, you really cannot lose.

2 new Speed Triples were just released. That'd be my choice if I had the coin for a second bike.

Kind of lucky I got my Rocket before I heard of the new Speed Triple being released. I’d of spent another $6k more and had me a new Speedie RS.

I keep thinking an 883 Sportster Scrambler would be a fun companion bike...
