I use the Knox armouring system. Wear what you want over the top or just on it’s own when it’s hot.

All my riding jackets are Indian motorcycle cruiser style jackets. I thought to get a more street style jacket with all the protection just to fit the style of the R3.

Just picked up the Dainese Racing 3 Perf. jacket in White, black, Red Dainese Racing 3 Perforated Jacket - Cycle Gear, definitely not my usual color scheme but looked good on, and the wife loved it! Haven't tried it yet. Not sure if it's too aggressive for the R3.

Just curious what jackets/styles other R3 riders are wearing.

Knox makes some nice Triumph branded jackets with armour. Leather, gortex, and others. Very good quality.

OK, I admit it. I went and got a Triumph leather jacket, just to ride with the Rocket (looks pretty silly on the Thurxton and the Speed Triple!) But, MAN, is the ****ed thing HEAVY!

There are a few options to wear in my wardrobe.. mostly depending on Werther, distance and riding speed..

But always with a Full body armour (under the sweater, shirt,..) even when its not visible..
