I can't look at any more exhaust sites, pics, posts, etc ... of headers and pipes.

Carpenter, CES or Reband? ... I need your help to put me over the edge and make a final selection :)

nope ... you only just started .. some of us have been 'agonising' over exhausts for years. I've got Rebands myself .. like the CES .. and would really like a set of ........

I think once i go for an exhaust upgrade ( money willing ) i'll go with the CES as i have heard nothing but good things and they are within riding distance for me.

Not sure where you are in Texas but I just put a set of CES pipes on my roadster if you'd like to have a look. Might help you make up your mind

Thanks for all the replies ...

I'm in Dallas area ...

How do they sound as compared to stock or TORS which are not much louder than stock. I want performance and a whole lot more sound. My HD Road Glide have 2:1 Vance and Hines - they look and sound sound awesome.

I say nothing! That's a lot of money and if you're not "in love" with any of them, wait until you are ;) patience, my friend, always works out in the end.
Don't get something new because you don't like what you have, get something new because you can't see being without it!

They are badass...sound great...performance is awesome. I'm in Sturgis, but I'm in the Dallas area pretty regular. When I get home we can get together and you can hear them

I think what really matters is how far are you going to go in search of power. Each of the three are good pipes but no pipe is better then any other pipe just better suited for the particular design apllication.
1, are you concerned with power and torque down low or are you going to wind it up. if your not hurten buy what grabs you and as you venture up th ehorse power ladder you can always buy another pipe if needed. If you know your going to go for max hp later on then you might want to buy the pipe for high end power, rpm, and torque later. If you know your going for max and you don't want to deal with reselling the pipe because you needed to change then I say go big now and save the money for go fast bits.
Their all good what matters is what you want not anyone else!!!!!!

Thank you. Power is not my concern as I think all three will add power - plus the bike has plenty of power for me. I'm most interested in the sound. I want good sounding but loud pipes.

Thanks guys for your time to reply to my questions!

Btw...you have a resident power junkie pretty close @STRIPES just got his bike out of the shop after adding a little force air induction
