What did you do to your Rocket today?

I really have to make a effort this weekend to change out the recalled back tire Avon Chrome. 8,000 miles and the new tire is still setting in the living room. Brake pads that have been setting on the table next to the tire for over 3 months.:roll::roll::roll::roll: about due for a oil change so might as well. Figure it about time to replace the wheel bearings that have been sitting around for about two months. I really need to get off my butt and stop riding and get the bike ready for the spring.:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

Can’t stop, but at least you can go forward :p. Maybe that snow storm in the forecast will giggle you the excuse for maintenance.

Made it mine.

Anyone have a photo of how / where they added the second negative ground wire?

Installed the Toyota starter and auto battery, that second wire might be good for a better ground with the larger battery.

Not sure how a photo would help. Most folks just follow the routing of the original wire. And I needed longer bolts to handle the added terminal at each end.

Of course, since then, I've gone to a better solution: @Mittzy custom Rocket III battery cable set.

I put together my 6D mag liner that rode with me for 20 in the truck, now a little repurposed but we ride together again, hey that flashlight has been through it and always proven tough. Test Good! Definitely got this idea from @Mittzy thanks Mitzy it was outside and it started raining that’s WHY it’s wet, no water loss during this test

Put it on the tender half in and half out of the barn. I haven't ridden it in 2 weeks, shouldn't have killed the battery that quick, especially a newish Motobatt, but I killed it stone dead a few times learning about my keyless ignition. :(
