:D

All I did was put in a new battery. Hit the button for my horn at some assclown on the way home and got nothing. Seat back off and found the wire for the horn hiding in there, hooked it up and now I have noise. Have already done Race Tech fork springs, front tire and oil change for this season. Still need to do fuel filter and Suzuki regulator and I *think* I will be done, unless I can convince SWMBO how much I really need a set of Viking headers/crossover.

Road test reports awaited.
So far me likey haven't gone above 100 yet as I spotted a copper in the median. Brakes work great also. I think they are right adding the hydraulics to the steering is beneficial even for general riding. Especially on mucked up asphalt!!!!!

Took it out for an enjoyable ride and right off the bat new corvette z06 with mid life crisis driver wanted to show a motorcycle it wasn’t nothing, ha wrong bike triumph rocket (not a Harley with a stage kit) but the widow maker, twisted and stomped not even close out of 2nd the widow maker was gone, get you some

Well I ordered an Exedra Max Rear tire this morning along with Motion Pro's Tire bead breaker/lever tool set and some rim protectors and balance weights from Rocky Mountain ATV. They should be here tomorrow. :)
In the meantime I rode over to Harbor Freight and got me a tire balancer. Fit right nice in the saddle bag.

Now I'm going to try something that I swore I'd never do again. Change my own tire again. (last time was about 1985). Got all the tools for the same cost as I paid to have the last tire changed on my Kawasaki Vulcan 88.

Now:
Installed new rear tire, lubed the splines and cleaned the wheel.Commander ll’s s*ck to break the bead, but I knew that.

What's the best thing to use to lube the splines? I'm sure I read something about that somewhere on here. Going to search for that.
I watched the Youtube vids of removing the wheel and some tire stuff for the Rocket Touring (same year as I've got, even) so at least I'm not going in blind.

It's supposed to rain for the next five or six days, so though it would be a good time to hunker down in the garage. Still working on cutting out the spare bearclaw for the RamAir display, too.
Then I think I'll be done messing with the Rocket for awhile. I said that two weeks ago. :banghead:

Ride-on or Dyna-beads? I have Ride-on in now, but could be messy...I'll find out. Still going to use the weights, though.
I'd not be doing this was it not for this forum and all the community knowledge. Thanks All!

Spline lube needs to be a high Moly lube. Most people used to use the Honda Moly 60 lube but it is gone, well except for the two tubes in my garage. I have heard that Loctite makes a decent one that gets good reviews. So anything that runs 60% Moly or so should be fine.

My feeling is if it is balanced properly with weights there is no need for anything inside the tire. YMMV.
