Well, the night started out great

The difference between Jet Black (No Metal flake) and Phantom Black (Metal flake)

Yes indeed, Scott.
My Ford Tuxedo Black has the flake in it like Phantom black.
I didn't think the normal black was offered on the Roadster in 2012.

Today I got the roc far enough together for test ride. So far everything seems fine. Goes down the road straight. No weird wobbles or anything. Ran it up to 100 with no surprises. I didn't freak out thinking deer were coming for me. I think all is good :)

I would like to thank all the people who helped me through this. @Lonzol , @1olbull , @Steel , @albertaduke , @Mittzy , @Nat67 , @instant , @dealer (hope I didn't miss anyone ) and everyone else who offered advice or a kind word. The only real surprise has been my radiator sprang a small drip on one of the trim mounting gussets. I JB welded it and it's holding. For all of you chuckling to yourself, keep in mind the only thing holding the rotary seal in your water pump is a little bead of clear epoxy. I did order a new radiator yesterday in the event my repair fails. My butt has almost stopped hurting but my wallet is still on life support. As for the cost of the whole ordeal, I have no idea. It's a number I don't even want to know.

Djd you order a OEM radiator or the made in china aluminum one. I'll have to check and see if is suffering from the trump tax :D

I bought a real one that Triumph had made in China. I've heard some bad reports on the $250 specials.
Glad to hear it all come together Mate.
As for the Chinese made ones - they work but the cow longs and front mesh did not fit on the one I bought. To be fair they refunded my money and told me to keep the radiator so I just use it without shrouds

So glad to hear you have the bike together for Spring. Now you just need the appropriate riding gear.
