Alright another SE member!! Don't feel too bad about dropping it. I managed to do it at 3 mph in MSF class . I did it again and it broke so I got a new one just like the old one.:D Get some time off in Sept. if you can so can make the 3rd annual get together in Arkansas.
Welcome, I'm just down the road in p'cola.

Can you provide the info on the trip to Arkansas? Is it a R.A.T. trip? Speaking of which, I signed up on the Triumph site for R.A.T. Is that all there is to joining? Will they send a "welcome package", etc...? Thanks!

Thank you! I definitely want to go. I hope I can tag along with some fellow Rockets (or other Triumph riders) from my area. I think Scot in Exile is going. I'm hoping to meet him soon. If so, I'll discuss the trip with him. Thanks again!

Daryl, Pete and I are going too. Heading out on Thursday and coming back on Monday. As of now I think we are going to meet Dennis in Pensacola and leave from there. I'll talk to you more on Saturday.

Cool! That sounds GREAT. Btw, my parents live in Arkansas. We might can make their place rest stop if everyone is interested and assuming we go through their neck of the woods, which I'm assuming we will.

You asked for an intro

My first post here. Guess I should say a couple of things about myself. First I have an '08 Rocket III Touring. The one with the different frame and not all the hp. Been talking to my dealer about fixing that but we are still trying to figure it out. I also have a '98 1200 Trophy, two old Shovelheads, and a Chinese clone of a '38 BMW w/sidecar. I am an MSF rider/coach in SC and I can count on my hands how many times I drove 4 wheels in '08.
I got the R3T in August. Traded in an '07 FJR that I had about a year. Getting older and the knees couldn't handle the strain anymore. The dealer is 3 hours from here and when I got there everything from the waist down was in pain. Took about an hour to get the paperwork done and then I got on my new Rocket and left. Got a big grin about 10 feet down the road and have kept it ever since.

Welcome BigWillie.. :)

40,000 miles later and mine still gives the same grin.. :) There's a few captains on here in your neck of the woods.. :)

Welcome aboard BigWillie, the only bad thing about the grin, is the bugs.

Bob:D
