Hi Guys, I've been viewing removing secondaries

I removed my secondaries today. My Rocket seems to take off sooner on the throttle and maybe 5% faster, hard to tell. I haven't found any where what part number K&Ns to put on now that I have removed the plenum. Can someone help me with that? I would prefer pancakes if possible so that I can leave on the bear claw without cutting. I know there has been some discussion of using cones without having to cut the claw. That would be fine too.
Has any one tried the GIpro/ARTE that can tell me which mess of wires under the tank to hook it to? That is what I would like to try next.
I live outside Gilroy California. I rode thousands of miles of desert when I was a teenager. I took an MSF course a few years ago and got on the road. This 2006 Rocket 3 is my third bike since then. I bought a 1700VN but didn't like the clearance on turns or the acceleration, so, I traded it for a ZX10R. The acceleration and lean angle was awe inspiring. I loved that bike until I hung it up in a barb wire fence. $9250 insurance check and I fell in love with a Rocket and couldn't resist. I'm going to have it set up with longer rear springs and rear controls, they are on order. Trying to get the bike set up for some track fun. I may be old, but so is Jack Nicholson!
Please let me know about the K&N part numbers possible.

Firstly Welcome to the Forum from an Aussie
as far as your filters are concerned the 2780's are the way to go if you are planning to keep the engine stock and they will fit under the bearclaw but before you decide read a few threads I am running the RX 4040's some are running the 1770's and someone even found another nice one the RX 4010's which is about 3/4 inch shorter and slightly wider at base than the 4040

Thanks

Good afternoon:
Great to now be in contact with other R3 owners.

I live in south Texas, ride a 09 R3T which I got for 50th last year. 2000 miles when picked up 11000 miles now. Done some mods: K&N filter, FLO Oil filter, risers, oval mirrors, multi-colors, and after market mufflers which had to adapt, sound system. Up from Yamaha to ACE Tourer and now GREATEST MOTORCYCLE EVFER. The Triumph Rocket lll Touring. Will get pics and possible video for sound. Would love to get some Rockets together and ride.
