Welcome from Perth W.A.
I will look out for some R3 spiked tyres for you to use in that Russian winter :D

Maybe a Darkside car tyre with snow chains ;)
Take Care...

Hello from Russia!

I are in Moscow :D Recently bought the red 2008 rocket standard from USA with only 7,200 miles on it. The price of the new one here is INCREDIBLE - about 30 grand of US dollars, so I went the way of purchasing the used one for about 17 grand.

Actually I enjoy the bike and didn't make a mistake in choice because that's what I intended to have. The problem is that there are only few rockets here, I've met only 5 through more than a month of riding. So there was no opportunity to test the bike before purchasing.

Well, too many blablabla... Hope I can make some useful input someday :)

Russia. I don't think we have had someone from Russia before. Welcome!!

Thank you for your care!

Actually winter time is like hell here, but cold, so almost no wish to come out. There are some guys that ride their bikes all year round. Mostly those are cross riders and they have tires with spikes.
Once in winter we were drinking together with my friend and that drunk thought came to me - let's ride a little. I won't tell you about the effort we had to make to start that piece of...drunk engineers solutions. At last I've made about 1km circle on it and cold made my drunk thoughts go away immediately. Finaly I've crashed the bike to the snow hill and we wen't home to drink more :)

Hello!

There are some rocket riders here but not many. The first official dealer of Triumph appeared about two years ago, so there are only few of us. Most people prefer to have dealers support. Also we've got our own small forum devoted exclusively to rockets. So it slowly develops and maybe there should be more russians here some day.

Lets see here. I live in the state of Georgia and I love to ride. I sold my Vulcan 1500 classic about a month ago do to the fact I want something bigger and badder. I thought about buying a 2000 cc vulcan but I found the new 2012 Triumph R3R and it is just bad a##. I wondered what other people thought about going from the kawasaki to the triumph.

One test ride and you will be hooked....oh and the grin doesnt go away... one other thing the the first time you snap open the throttle you better be hanging the Hell on or...............

No regrets!

I also wanted something bad ass and something I could afford. I went to the dealership to take a look at the R3 and bought it on sight along. I ride it like a s is sport bike and couldn't be happier with the monster.

Used 07 Rocket 3 Classic

Hello everyone , I just purchased a used 07 Classic and loved the power and handling. I have previously owned a Suzuki C109R and this bike has more roll on than my old suzuki and it was pretty awesome. :) I also own a 08 Honda Goldwing that I use for traveling when I am on vacation and I am going to stay overnight. I am a little worried about the transmission on the Rocket 3. Is there really a big problem or is it isolated cases ?
