Hi from POWDER SPRINGS GA
I AM 49, FINALLY GOT A 07 BLACK ROCKET W/13000 MILES.
STILL GETTING MY SEA LEGS. GREAT TO RIDE SO FAR. MY LONG TERM TRIP WILL BE ATLANTA TO GLACIER NATIONAL PARK.

EXCEPT FOR JARDINE PIPES NO MODS AS FAR AS I CAN TELL.

TEDS 1 New Rocket iii Classic owner!!

Hi all, just bought my first brand new Rocket 3 Classic "Gorgeous in Cherry red/New England White". Last time I owned a water cooled triple was back in 1982 and that was a Suzuki GT750. Since then I have owned a Suz GSX750. Having recently watched an episode of OCC "Orange County Choppers on DMAX, they we're building an old school bike for billy joel who did not want a chopper but something that resembled a 1950s bike/cruiser and once I had seen the Rocket that was about as near as I was going to get for £11000. Can't now wait for summer 2010 and a trip touring the south of France and down into Spain COME ON! Teds 1.

Ahhh... so now the Rocket can ride on water! It was just a matter of time. LMAO Welcome, Ted and enjoy the ride!
 
Hello everybody - newbie here as of today. I am planning to replace my long-loved V-Rod, looking for something faster, better for long distances, and better for a passenger.

Loving that R3 Roadster, especially the exhaust and the blacked-out components....

...and I'd really like to hear about what all you guys have done to your R3's to make them not only quicker and faster, but also to run even smoother than stock, if that's possible.

Oh, and I also have a 2003 Yamaha FZ-1 and a 2003 Suzuki SV1000S.
