Washers for Oil Change

Put to many zeros in it. I have corrected the original post.
I cant stand stupid people! You mean to tell me the parts guy at the dealership couldnt tell there were too many zero's???!!! All he could come up with is "its not a part #" God people are Fing stupid!!!! :kk:
Its this reason right here I have always done my own service and I am thankful I can understand instructions enough to do it and posess some ability to understand the mechanics of it!
Its too bad America has let the "quality" of just about everything go by the wayside. No more is it important to be proficient and skilled at what you do. Its all the greedy bastards that push this so they dont have to pay experienced people good money just so they can put the difference in their pockets!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:soapbox:

Thanks for letting me rant....we now return to your regularly scheduled thread

They are crush washers so I just stick with the stock ones. Like I said I think I paid 5 bucks total for all of mine and my parts guy is not a total tool so I don't mind going in to talk to the guy and knowing I have the right parts.

One of my business sites has a password security question .... What is your biggest pet peeve? My answer is "Stupid", nothing makes me sicker and hate people more than just being ignorant when there is no cause for it.
So I know what you mean, someone calls themselves an "expert" and knows less than I do about a subject irritates the **** out of me. I see mistakes made by people everyday, mistakes that effect others. I'm out of a job right now due to a small mistake made by another person, it's effect on me will destroy my family and our home for good. It's no wonder cranky old men screwed by the system go off the deep end.

Just remember one thing:

From the time of your birth till you ride in a hearse, nothing could be so bad that it couldn't get worse.
Good night folks
Kid

Where can I buy the washers and o ring on line and not the filter as a kit ? Got filters, need washers and o ring.

I don't always change my crush washers and O ring. But when I do, I use Dos Equis ... No Wait!

I buy them at the auto parts store. Way less expensive. And I use a Purolator filter L14612. Top rated by Consumer Reports.

Never replaced the washers, have my rocket for 11 years almost and i change my own oil, no leaks so far, people paying too much attentyion to the washer thing?? I have some if someone really want them, just gotta find them, let me know

I got to go with Lupe here as I still have my originals on my 06.

Too much postage but thank you. I'll ride the hour to Kingsport and get a set from the dealer
