2012 Triumph Rocket III Roadster, 1997 Valk Tourer
I did a search on this forum and didn't really find anything. I really like the looks of the stock mirrors, but when I climb onto my Valkyrie I really like the picture I get with the super-wide angle mirrors I have on it. I just don't feel like I'm able to get a good view of what's going on behind me. I was almost killed once (but completely missed, BTW) by a drunk driver coming up behind me. By the grace of God I had changed lanes just in time and avoided an accident. He did go on to rear-end a car in front of us.
So, what is everyone using? It appears the mirrors on the rocket are not a standard 10mm like my other metrics.
Thanks for your input!

I have the stock round mirrors on mine. Triumph themselves have accessory oblong ones, and there are more choices from the aftermarket I am sure. But I haven't settled on what I might want. I don't go for the highly stylized mirrors I often see....just give round or oblong.....don't get fancy on me!

Yamaha mirrors of some Yamaha cruiser - VStar I think. They went straight on.

Using the Triumph oval mirrors. Think they are an improvement in looks and function.

+1 on the Triumph oblong mirrors.I have the one's with the holes in the stems work great.

I went back to the Mickey Mouse mirrors because they do not move at high speeds like the Triumph Tear drop style (hove not tried oblong) That being said if you had a bag of the tear drop mirrors you might be able to use them as boat anchors But you will need a large bag of them

I use VMax mirrors. The nice thing is they screw onto the existing stem.
