IMHO, the Metzlers are a safety hazard.

A nice Riken Raptor ZR in 225/55-16 works well on the back and a Dunlop Elite 3 works well up front.

Sounds about right. I got just over 5,000 miles on the OEM tyre. After that I got 20-30,000 out of a rear tyre.

Mate - you did well - I wore the edges off my Goodyear in half that-ish.

The rear, yes - but 40-50K off the front at least I'd have thought.

You'd think, but the front Metz was so cupped, I changed it too. Now the front Cobra seems to last forever.

I have enough issue maintaining an upright wobble free stance on my feet at times. I should exercise more - I'll start tomorrow ---------------------------
