Urgent need seat for Rocket 3 Touring 2013

I knew there was a rocket forum but it was my girlfriend's idea to post my need of a seat. I got to tell you, I'm very impressed with the response. That was very generous of you to offer to meet me to get me the seat. That's a long drive for you. This seat I ordered from ebay has free shipping and should make it to me between Fri and Mon and save you a long trip.

I've ridden bikes for 40 years, mostly triumphs and harleys. I cut my teeth on a 1969 triumph bonneville. Got the rocket a year ago and took one 3 hour trip (one way) on it. Otherwise mostly trips under an hour.It is a beast but it sure is a nice ride. Next week my girlfriend and 2 other couples are taking a ride to West Virginia and spending a week riding up in the hills and down in the hollows.........assuming I have a seat to do it on. I think I'll have to spend some time on this forum. Again, thanks!

Thanks a lot. I ordered it and should have it in time for my trip. I met Rick Mayer and he seemed like an up front type of guy. Dealing with him after the order was placed has been a nightmare. He will not return messages. I didn't know if he was dead or what. He doesn't keep his end of the deal. I can only hope that when (and if) I do get my saddle it is a good one. We'll see.

I've heard many similar stories, we had a group buy on ADV Rider forum, I passed because of the no/poor customer service, I will go with Russel day long next winter.
