Hello. Asking for a advice to choose new coolant, going to drain the old ones out first.
Manual says to use "Mobil antifreeze". Idk if that's discontinued already, but I cant get that anywhere in my country. From product site I found out that it meets the standard "BS 6580"
I could get some cheapo green IAT coolant from local store that's BS 6580, and it costs only 2€/L.

I asked from Triumph importer store near me what coolants they have for sale, and they recommended "Motul motocool expert", this coolant is HOAT i believe, but it costs 13€/L. Some other spare part sites offered this coolant too...

What would you do/think, is that cheap green coolant good enough for my bike (at least it has same standard than the OEM in 2009), or should I invest almost 6 times more money and go for motul?

I have an 07 classic and have always used what u call the green stuff.
No problem with it. Make sure u bleed the system per the manual when changing the coolant.

Orange zerek is what I use. You should see the post I have about how bad the stock system is. I highly suggest you use thermocure and flush your system.
All the coolant you can find that are sulfate free are what you can use. It makes no difference. Strait old school green ethylene glycol is trash. Avoid it at all costs now days

I use Engine Ice seems to work as it should. I don't have a coolant gauge but on the hottest days (100+ real feel) my oil runs about 190-200° Fahrenheit. Per my oil tank gauge. Acceptable on track days and biodegradable .
