Unbelievable - shoddy dealer work


Is this a different wedge for the tyre changer machine or something? My tyre shop always has a hard time removing ries. They damage the tire in the process of getting it off the rim.

From what I gathered from them - It is VERY stiff and so the wedge (or what ever it's called) goes where it should and does not deflect onto the rim. Also from the noises it makes - it uses a lot more air. Knowing Victor (the boss) and his dad - it was NOT cheap. They really know the value of repeat business
 

There you go. I have the same experience. The tyre goes on easy, now, getting off that rim is a Royal Pain for any machine that I have seen and it takes two techs to get it done, and the bead gets torn in the process. Forget the rim, it's already messed up.

It is just a tyre remover - Probably made with less tolerances and not subjected to constant use and wear. Before they did my R3 they were fitting 30 aspect rubber onto a new Porsche. Brand new race rims. The plus is that Victor is also a biker. His guys have to earn the right to do bikes. It's is all much slower pace than the normal tyre jockey work.
 
Well folks hats off to the new Avon Chromes. Just got done balancing the back tire. Took a grand total of 3 weights. 1/4 oz apiece. By far the least amount of weights used on numerous brands of tires. Any indication leaves me to really wonder about the weights on the front tire. The thing that brought the front tire into my attention was the fact that the chalk line and the weights are at opposite ends? Got a good feeling about this. Figure after i get the back tire mounted will take front tire off and check it out. Going to documented all the balancing via video my wife will take. This info will go to my lawyer along with the damage to the back rim. Keeping my cool and believe we are going about this the right way. Real tired of doing business with people that want to slap you on the back and make you feel good only to find out you got screwed. To answer the question the tire tool used to remove the tire from the rim should have a rubber protector. After several removals the rubber protector on the tool should be replaced. If not image that damage will occur to the rim. Got a picture of the tool they used. Figure after the Lawyer (who rides) gets done emptying there pockets will get a good laugh out of it all. What i really want to do is go kick some ass but this time using good judgement

Took me a while to find a good tire guy near me in Maine. Let me also say that one who was reasonable about cost. Some wanted 80 dollars to change a tire I brought in. Like it was going to take him an hour to change the tire, really. Finally I found a fellow that charges 20 bucks and has a great machine. Nothing touches the rim at all, no damage, no mars, he really cares about your bike. Need more people like him. Deals mainly with Harleys, in touch dude, loves motors. Coloniel Cycle, Morrill Maine

Why is you never seem to hear Suzuki Intruder owners having problems with their rear tyres? Same size tyre? Is it the rim on the Rocket thats the problem?
 
Front tire balancing by HONDA OF TULSA Was a joke. Not even close. Is now. No pics because lawyer says keep them private until court case.Talking is OK but as the saying goes a pic is worth a thousand words. I'm going for blood. No need to kick and make a fuss and end up in jail. Just take all the evident's to court and have some fun. HONDA OF TULSA BEND OVER HERE IT COMES WITHOUT VASELINE. No not going to take offer to settle out of court.

You would be better taking him to small claims court with the amount involved, no lawyer expense just document all the info you have lots of pictures and file your claim.
