Wayne has been answering questions on the yahoo forum. Apparently the timing is retarded in the first three gears as well as the secondaries not opening fully. Removing the secondaries gives a lean mixture as the computer thinks the throttles are not fully opened so it gives less fuel. He states that his system will give the option of fully or partially removing the 7% as you wish as well as correcting speedo error and removing the speed limiter.

I absolutely want one...and I think Wayne should join over here.

The moment he produces the product for release might be the moment I sell my PC3!!

But there will always be a market for PC3's, since more than likely the "Tuneboy" will cost between $400-$500+ and the tuneing will be more since it is not the standard turn & burn for the PC dyno guys. You may also need YOUR own computer, since the dyno guy may not have the program/or want it on his computer. Just throwing things out there, and hopefully it will be addressed.

Don't know if that "lean" condition is accurrate or how much it is lean, etc. I don't think it applies with the Rock PC3 with the standard 02 sensor removed-but again not sure. May have my dyno guy try it in second gear to see what the sniffer says.

You may really be lean if you have a factory Triumph tune and just pull the plates-don't know if that is what is being referred to. I think the 02 sensor is what read the rich lean condition (over a time period) and may undo some things-which is why the 02 sensor is pulled with the PC3 for that type of open loop...

The PC3 is just a fuel controller-nothing more, which for some is all they need...

The TB is very expansive offering a multitude of features that the "Top Tier Tinkerers" have a lot of interest in.

Here's What I need right now:

Top Speed limiter gone
Accurate MPH
Aggresive Timing permitting full advantage of 92-93 octane
Full power & fuel control in all gears
Fans on 10-20 degrees sooner

Here's What I'll need for the future:

Raised rev limiter to extract extra power from increased compression, heads, etc...

TUNEBOY just downloaded his magic into my Rocket III. First one, ever! I can't beleive the difference! It's absolutely fantastic. I now have full power and fuel control and it's fantastic. You might not be any faster in top speed but you get there a LOT faster! I'd suggest everyone with a Rocket III should contact Wayne MacDonald - his stuff is amazing.

How do we get in contact with him?
and How much?????

All I did on Rocket Junkies bike was set the secondary butterfly so it is fully open in all gears and copied the 3rd,4th,5th gear ignition map into the 1st and 2nd gear ignition maps.
This gave him full ignition advance in all gears and the ability to give it full throttle when he wants (rather than when the ECU thinks he should).
This was the first download to an actual bike.
All the testing on the test bench is great but you can't beat the seat of the pants testing.
