Is it worth fitting the triumph quickshifter to the bike ?
I assume its then clutchless up/ down shifts?
And is any codeing needed once plugged in to loom . .

It tends to work better on the upshifts better than on the downshifts.
It relies on the throttle and engine/transmission loading being operated in the right way in order for the shifts to be seamless and smooth. So for example, the upshifts should be done while accelerating and not when cruising along.
I know that many say it's a must have extra. I have it on my bike but I tend not to bother with it most of the time. I find that the manual changes using the clutch are quick and smooth without the quick-shifter, the shifter is nice to have if you want to do a bit of a race from the lights.......It's an ego booster 😝

I find it's most useful if you, for some reason, need to shift mid-corner. With the quick shifter the bike isn't unsettled as much. But it's great for other things, too.

It works best on upshift while accelerating, preferable where pre- and post-shift engine torque is roughly equal; and works best on downshift while engine braking.
