Very Nice unfortunitly I too will possibly have to look at triking the big girl and that is look I would be aiming at in the rear end except I would have three exhausts :D

Me thinks this is NOT good news, Amigo!

However, I can see a time, hopefully in the semi-distant future, when three wheels shall be for myself.

So, no more of that SLOW red for you, eh?
You be going to a MANLY turquoise?
:sick::kk:

Hi Limbuck - congrats on getting the trike done. What size tyres you running on the rear? I have 215/45 - R 17 on my R3 trike and i've found that tyre pressure is pretty critical to the ride - trike builders here recommend only 20 lbs pressure. I've tried a bit more on occasions but much more makes the rear 'bounce' to much. Enjoy it m8.

That's a great looking trike!
Who produces it or is it a one-off?
Did you increase the rake for handling improvement? If so how much?
I'd sure like to see more about how the rear suspension was done.
Love the rear wheels!

Thanks 1olbul for the directions on how to post but I feel like an idiot not being able to get started. Open tab up top? I stumbled on first step. I know it's simple if I can do one time. I did update my profile with a pic of Trike, at least it showed it once?
I'm dying to get these pics posted becuase I think this thing looks awesume. Riding is something else. Ride a trike before considering a conversion. I did but I'm still in biking withdrawel. It is so different, steer don't lean and all that. Yep, you drive a trike you do not ride one like a bike. Thankfully I still have a real motorcycle also so I can do both. I like it however and so does the little woman and that's half the thing.
I will be posting a sack full of spares on the classifieds when it let's me. Yep, trouble there also. But nevertheless I have all the stuff removed from conversion done at 3000 miles. The whole R3Tswingarm, final drive unit, rear wheel, tire(oem Metz), caliper, disc, and hardware. Also rear fender assy with taillight, blinkers, rear bumper rail, all ready to plug and play. No cut wires. Two rear shocks, panniers (saddle bags), w/saddle bag mounts and chrome protective railings, chrome side covers for fender, sidestand(kickstand), and much hardware. I got pics if I can ever post. If any of ya'll want to see trike bad enough or have interest in any parts I will e-mail you pics. E-mail me at titan-up@hotmail.com. All painted parts are black. All parts in like new condition. Also have OEM silencers (slip-on exhausts), and my recently installed D&D slip-ons also. I loved them things but they would not work with conversion kit. Ok, lot said, little done. I'll get there guys. hang with me. Oh yeah, all parts retail in the many thousands. I would rather bundle the whole works for one good price all round. Later...

Wasn't me with the instructions, Amigo. It was XDSKIP I think.
I use Picture Trail. It's pretty straight forward on how to download your pix into the program. Once done, simply click on the Image URLs button. Select the one that starts with "http://". Highlight it - do a "control+C" keyboard command then return to your post and do a "control+V" command and WALA! You be in bid'ness!

don't know who this trike actually belongs to,
or who made it, but I like the style of it.

is that an Australian tag?

It is indeed a UK number plate and is made by a company called Grinnall here in the UK.

It's a MotorTrike straight axle kit 1olBull likley similar to the one for the R3 Scrambler model they have. MotorTrike says the R3 Roadster and R3T have totally different chassis. Is that so anybody? It's like many they have for Harley and Honda units. The kit seems very solid but honestly MotorTrike did a poor installation filled with flat washer shims, leaky exhaust, blinker malfunctions, pin holes in fiberglass body in trunk, and left the kick stand on and all that after putting on a single exhaust initially. They fixed the exhaust to duals but my local dealer fixed every single detail and then some. They no doubt can install the kit better than MotorTrike. What would you order to get a kit from MotorTrike that a dealer could install I don't know. I talked to the co-owner down there about my mess and he incinuated they may not get into any more of these. I do not know of another manufacturer in the states that makes one. I am totally happy with the finished product. I consider myself too young for this but I still have a Victory CrossCountry to hit the twisties and beyond with. I am ready for whatever life brings however. The R3T did get to scaring me when 2 up and near static. It never went over on me and it will not now for sure. Give me a shout if near Southeast TN. I never see R3T around here and sure as heck never seen a triked beast. gain guys. need parts? I got sacks of them...

yes the Touring has a different chassis, I believe the Roadster is still the same as the ST's and Classic's

First off, I use to live in McMinnville. A guy who triked his bike said Tennessee requires the kickstand to stay on the bike or it is not considered a motorcycle. Yep, the kickstand makes it a motorcycle. Go figure.

I live just up the road from you. I am 12 miles South of Fayetteville, T.N. We should hook up.:D

Yes we should. I hope to do Trail of Tears this sat out of Chatt. I'll be on the Vic because I haven't ridden the trike enough yet to be comfortable amongst thousands of riders. There ain't many R3T around these parts so you'd be easy to find.
