I was about 130 when I bought mine and am just getting up to the 170's. Guess I'm finally growing into mine. :D

Got it done and you are correct that Motor Trike did not and does not have a kit specifically for the R3T. The conversion almost fell through but MotorTrike offered to install the kit at their facility to R&D my bike for the R3T kit. I shipped it down there and they did install the kit. Many shortcomings on the Motor Trike installation but my local dealer went above and beyond addressing every issue. It's been along ordeal but I brought it home today. I can go in detail at a later date but I would not let Motor Trike install the kit. My dealer can do a better job. That would be Pioneer Equipment in Winchester, TN. I will post pictures soon and it is awesume. Even triked the beast still shows that amazing torque and acceleration. Yes, handling is totally different. I'm checking all suspension and tire pressures and such tomorrow and will give it some shake down riding. Do I regret this? Well, time will tell, At least it don't scare me any more at lights, stop signs, uneven grades and such. It will not fall over now and it is the most awesume trike I have seen. More later...

Congratulations on the trike I have knees and ankles problem myself have been looking at the motor trike kit myself but I have the classic tour but now that they've done yours I'm sure they will offer the R3T model

Rear tyres on the Trike

Hi Limbuck - congrats on getting the trike done. What size tyres you running on the rear? I have 215/45 - R 17 on my R3 trike and i've found that tyre pressure is pretty critical to the ride - trike builders here recommend only 20 lbs pressure. I've tried a bit more on occasions but much more makes the rear 'bounce' to much. Enjoy it m8.

Good luck with the conversion.
Next, how to post pictures.
open up another tab up top.
go to the site tinypic.com
have your pictures ready, on say your desktop
for instance or somewhere you can find them.
On the tinypic page hit "browse".
find your picture you want to post.
Hit the "upload now" button.
You'll see 4 lines of code appear.
Select the second from the top,
highlight it and "copy" it.
Hit the other tab up top, the one that brings you back
to this site and your open post.

Hit paste and it'll show up as code you're pasting into the post.
Hit submit post and the picture shows up.
Sounds complicated till you do it once then it's easy.
Again, good luck with your conversion,
can't wait to see a white Rocket trike.

Let's see if I understand how to do this now, Skip . . .

Seems the link thingy works; but, how do I post those cool pix that enlarge when clicked???

Thanks 1olbul for the directions on how to post but I feel like an idiot not being able to get started. Open tab up top? I stumbled on first step. I know it's simple if I can do one time. I did update my profile with a pic of Trike, at least it showed it once?
I'm dying to get these pics posted becuase I think this thing looks awesume. Riding is something else. Ride a trike before considering a conversion. I did but I'm still in biking withdrawel. It is so different, steer don't lean and all that. Yep, you drive a trike you do not ride one like a bike. Thankfully I still have a real motorcycle also so I can do both. I like it however and so does the little woman and that's half the thing.
I will be posting a sack full of spares on the classifieds when it let's me. Yep, trouble there also. But nevertheless I have all the stuff removed from conversion done at 3000 miles. The whole R3Tswingarm, final drive unit, rear wheel, tire(oem Metz), caliper, disc, and hardware. Also rear fender assy with taillight, blinkers, rear bumper rail, all ready to plug and play. No cut wires. Two rear shocks, panniers (saddle bags), w/saddle bag mounts and chrome protective railings, chrome side covers for fender, sidestand(kickstand), and much hardware. I got pics if I can ever post. If any of ya'll want to see trike bad enough or have interest in any parts I will e-mail you pics. E-mail me at titan-up@hotmail.com. All painted parts are black. All parts in like new condition. Also have OEM silencers (slip-on exhausts), and my recently installed D&D slip-ons also. I loved them things but they would not work with conversion kit. Ok, lot said, little done. I'll get there guys. hang with me. Oh yeah, all parts retail in the many thousands. I would rather bundle the whole works for one good price all round. Later...

Tennessee Trike

I finally got some pics on the photo album. Hope ya'll can find them. At least they are there some times. Also got stuff on classifieds, or they were on there. Too much time on this thing today. later ya'll.

Very Nice unfortunitly I too will possibly have to look at triking the big girl and that is look I would be aiming at in the rear end except I would have three exhausts :D
