Alright, well I added the oil and new filter, and she turns over but will not fire. The idiot light is on and I have two plugs that I have no idea where they plug up. One in the frame fork and one in by the battery box. Started to get eaten up so I gave up and came back in.

Shoot some pics of those mystery plugs and post them for us....
Also, plug in with TuneEcu and let us know if you're getting any codes....

You're closer than you've ever been :)

These are the two plugs that I dont have a location for. The first is the OBDii plug that I have no idea where it was placed, and the one in the front (yellow 3 plug in the center of the photo), I don't know.
As for TuneEcu, I have never used it. I have never had issues with a bike that requires a code puller. I do have a bluetooth OBDII code reader made by Bafx Products, do you know if TuneEcu will work with any bluetooth code reader?

The first plug OBD store next to battery box, this is what you plug into to perform diagnostics. Second one I'm drawing a blank, sorry. When I take mine apart I tag the connections so I don't try to remember connections.

I sold my Roadster, so can't have a look, but you should have someone along shortly who either remembers the yellow plug or can pop the hood on theirs real quick. Wondering, since the gas tank is completely off if that might be the plug to your fuel pump- anybody?

Unfortunately, the tank is plugged in. The plug and lead come from beside the airbox. Either way, I will look at it when I get home and before the mosquitos come out of hiding.

I used a cable with my Roadster. I have a

OBDLink LX OBD2 Bluetooth Scanner

which is the recommended brand. I doubt the one you have will work, unfortunately. You also either need an Android phone or tablet to run TuneECU. If you can get a cable though (Lonelec) it will work on an old/ancient windows laptop.

You're going to want/need to run TuneECU for a number of things and it might be helpful to you right now.

For info on TuneECU start here...

Adapters, to be able to remap (W) the latest Triumph models via Bluetooth
OBDLink LX
OBDLink MX
OBDLink MX+
UniCarScan UCSI-2100 from firmware 2.49 or up (Compatible with update to TuneECU version 5.5.42 or up)OBD vLinker MC is now compatible (firmware 4.3.2 or up)
USB connection: Cable USB KKL 409.1 with FTDI chipset.
Some USB cables recommended

Please note that if you buy cables from other sources, these cables are USB OBD2 KKL cables with FTDI chipset (VAG group).
Other cables will not work even if they have a FTDI chipset.
Further, for the necessary cables and adapters etc, you can find recommendations HERE
Compatible models see "bikes list" by programmer also

I tagged all the wires with colored zip ties before I took them apart and this one isn't. So either I missed it or it wasnt plugged in. But every other plug that isnt in use is packed full of grease and dirty, this little guy is clean which makes me believe I missed something. Ill take another long look at it later when I get home.

Thanks for the info, I ordered the plug though I hope I can figure it out before then. I have been using a bluetooth USB dongle for years on pretty much every car that I work on. They are life savers when something happens and your not at the house.

I do remember there was at least a plug or two that was free (open) on my Roadster. How about the big white one above and left of the yellow plug? I'm going to see if I have some shots from my earlier days with the Roadster and will report back if I do....
