This was something Tripps came up with I tried it and love it so far 200 60 16 for the back instead of the 180 70 16 have done about 175 miles so far and love it but I love the bridgy any way so was a no brainer to try it the 200 just seems to handle a lot better next time if I can get the avon in a 200 I will try it I just get really good life out of the bridgy so have stuck with it[/QUOTE
I mounted a 200, no issues. I ride 99% of the time solo, and without heavy baggage, so I left the shock set-up as is. The guy who installed thought if I had a lot of weight, trailer and a passenger, it may make contact, but if that was the case, it is a simple shock adjustment.
The Excedras that were original equipment on the first R3T's shredded from the torque rather than weight. Bridgestone, when asked, still say they have no tires appropriate for the R3T.
I have the new bridgestone on the rear, I love it, done a lot of km's and showing no sign of wear yet, handles up to 210km/ph no problems and feel very stable thru corners
