Top Suspension Adjustment for Rocket 3 with col and Zig!

One size does not fit all. I watched the video and it can get you in the ball park but certainly not my settings. At 5'9" 190 (ish:mad:) I have been adjusting and readjusting since I had the Rocket GT. The back preload came from the factory at minimum settings and this has been my problem area. After trying pretty much every click up to max I find the minimum is better for my (lack of better word, 'Stocky') build. I go one half click from minimum adjustment. Anything over that is a pain in my back. Now someone my weight and height may find it horrible and has to have a firmer 10 clicks up or so. What's good for you probably isn't good for me even if we are close in stature. Injuries old and new have to be incorporated into the suspension setup. The suspension adjusting is like putting a puzzle together slowly. I think mine is dialed in but like Protonhound it's more for comfort and basic ridding than any backroad carving. At this point comfort is my main concern but I want to be able to hit the backroads without any negative feedback from my setup. Tire pressure is set rear 39.5 and front 37.5. Cheers!
Agreed, and not every click is the same on every bike. It depends on what your spring rate is actually at and the differences in tolerances from one shock build and one bike to the next. Just like every pair pair of size x jeans don't fit perfectly on your but...
