Top speed on your Touring?

On what kind of tires and road surface would one do this ? (180 +)

Video would be a plus.

And the power required increases with the square of the velocity. Impressive all by itself.

We have a favorite hiway that has a 5 mile straight that's three lanes wide Im running metzler tires Running the Carpenter 240+ HP mods
 
Over 100 is just a quick twist - gets there fast. I find I tend to hit 70/80 without really noticing.

But, around the 100 mark have to start holding on, as I took off the windshield.

Been up around 110/120, but normally run out of road, hit traffic, etc.
 
THAT doesn't make much sense my friend installed a Carpenter exhaust and retuned his it made 165 HP and 165 TRQ he raised the rev limit and top speed limit now that bike really performs and hes had it over 160 mph many times with more to go if he had a longer road and no handling issues so something is going on with your bike that can be corrected And I rode an R3T with a 245 HP Carpenter package that will run over 160 with ease and no handling problems other than spinning the rear tire when you open the throttle LOL

My Touring gets a weird slow weave over 130, too, I really need to check the headstock bearings
 
The big 19" Triumph one, that's also a suspect.
