OK. Wifey wants the backrest that’s on the Harley Tour Pack. Before I run out and drop $850 on the Harley genuine part (not that Petunia’s back isn’t worth it), what say you all?

I looked at old threads, but maybe I’ve missed the one I was looking for. I also looked at the after market boxes, not impressed with the reviews. Corbin? $$$$$$nnnnnope!! Other quality options? Luggage rack install issues?

And no, I’m not going to just buy a Road King. My Rocket makes me feel sorry for those guys.

Yes it is. I added the struts to reinforce the carrying capacity.

There are a number of tour pack manufacturers out there from el cheapos that are "just OK" to higher quality ones like at the link Billy posted.

A good welding shop can easily fabricate a mount that bolts directly to the struts. I have one for my Kawasaki Nomad. A guy in BC Canada had it custom made for a few hundred bucks and I bought it from him.

Good find there young William! These folks are local to me and this is the first I heard about them.

I found a trunk at a classic bike swap meet and needed latches and hinges for it. Found them in my research. Still need to get that project done. I just hate working with Fiberglass.
