Too much time on his hands

Very KEWL!
What are you going to do with it?
My father spends a fair bit of time at truck and tractor shows, vintage machinery weekends. He usually takes a dozer or a truck or something from his collection. This small Kenworth is just something he can carry on a 10 x 5 box trailer behind his motor home. If he takes any thing bigger it's normally a job for me with my truck. So this should get me out of some jobs.

Sure is a cutie!
Hope he has a lot of fun with it.
Would be funner if twas street legal.

Latest project, 1/3 size D6C

That is very cool. I applaud his talent and admire his creative work. I can say that I am looking forward to my retirement after seeing these projects. In a about 100 years or so if I am lucky.

Retirement is a good thing for my father, he spends a lot of time in his shed. It's about a month since he started on the little dozer. Another week or so and it will be finished. Then he'll be looking for something else to do. I tried to get him into metal art and sculpture but he doesn't see art as being much use. Prefers more mechanical things.

He cut up a perfectly good Dixon zero turn mower for the engine and drive. Brought new rubber tracks, sprockets, front idler rollers and bottom rollers that measured 1/3 scale. The hydraulics for the blade rams are powered by a 12 volt hydraulic power pack all new. The rest was manufactured in the shed at Woodenbong. The bonnet and radiator guard are 3ml plate pressed into shape in my fathers 30 tonne press he and I built years ago.
