cool. the fact that its safe on plasti dipped wheels is what makes me feel at ease that it will be ok on our engines because plasti dip is... well its essentially rubber and any household cleaner like goo gone will literately make it melt away. if this stuff doesn't harm that then I'm ok with using it on my vw engine. (and my r3 engine when it needs a good cleaning

I was advised to use tyre shine on the engine and clean regularly, havnt done eighter after two years

Hey guys looking for some tips on cleaning the grime off my engine block, or any tricks for cleaning any other parts of the bike.

2 words: Honda Polish.

I use awsome spray, you can get it for a buck a bottle at dollar general. the spray with lemon pledge whipe in some and start the bike up and let it warm up it will bake into a shine. or just ride it. I also use lemon pledge on everything its just cleaner and carnuba wax. works great. Don't buy the imatation ****ski its worthless.

Hey Warp, I occasionally shop at Dollar General too! Someone built a brand new $.97 Store nearby though...but I won't step one foot in that place. They just sell a bunch of cheap crap in there.

Elbow grease and lots of it, on the engine block use a soft brush toothbrush for the hard to reach area's, any engine cleaning product does the trick the spray on and hose off ones are s**t so do not waste your money on them.
The secret is to wash and polish your bike at least four times a day do what I do I have the wife wash and polish my bike every morning before I let her go to work.(if you believe that one I also have a bridge for sale)

Your wife helps you with bike cleaning? And I can't even get mine to use the brand-new snow shovel I bought her for Christmas!

Spray with Gold Wash ( amuse yourself for 30 minutes ) hose off ... spray engine with silicone spray when dry ( learnt that from Bubz and Co ... cleanest shiniest engines i've ever seen )

Yep silicone spray works great , i use tyre shine does a great job , hot soapy water to clean it
