Check out the Go Cruise. Had it for over two years and love it.
None of these are meant for use in traffic! For open road only!
I run the billet with adjustment screw version.

Ive got the same type not but it keeps slipping on the rubber support that came with it .I've since bought the kaoko cruise unit and am in the process off having it machined to fit the Kuryakyn grips

I might get one off those if this kaoko unit doesn't want to play thanks

@peter k
Looked up that kaoko - spendy little $hit ain't it?
Me thinks the twisting on and twisting off will tale too much time compared to the Go Cruise which set with an index finger and shuts off automatically.

Steve does the go cruise stay locked on the speed that you set it at .or do you have to adjust it regulary

This new aluminum with adjustable screw works much better than my previous plastic version.
On a long day when out on open boring stuff, I routinely set it and cruise with arms crossed for a few miles or so and it stays put.
Naturally grade changes up or down affect the speed, but it doesn't slip and easily shuts down when throttle is backed off.
For the money, it is ACE!!!

@peter k , while these throttle locks are great for very short periods to give your hand a rest, they shouldn't be used as a substitute for cruise control. Have a look at post #3 in this thread. I took mine off after that incident. If I can find it I'll send it to you, but it does require you to be able to wind off the throttle before grabbing the brake, which isn't as easy as it sounds in a panic stop situation where you instinctively grab the brake.

I did read post 3 and if iwas in that position the way I am now I would have struggled .it has taken a while but if I have to pull up in a hurry it is the back brake and apply front brake with left hand which I can assure takes a bit of getting used to. Or if throttle lock is operating and I need stop quickly .pull the clutch lever in and let the bike rev until I get everything things back under controll

i was cruising about 60 mph and to test mine i just pulled in the clutch lever. it went to about 4000 rpm nothing you could not live with till you got things under control. if you get one of these you need to practice on good open road so as to get use to it. i ride through about 100 yard sandy wash and have to work the bars hard and had the rubber grip move out against the cruise and noticed the throttle getting stiff.
i like mine used it on 600 mile trip it was great.
