This rain is driving me nuts.

Roll on spring & feeling the sun on my back[/quote]

You bet! Wet snow and sleet, and the bike dripping in condensation in the shed are NOT what I want!

Now if a Rocket was steam-powered it would at least be cosy to sit on..........who's got the best welsh steam coal then?? Might need to be a trike though or the coal would fall off the back on corners......

For our English brothers.....P.S., its -25C with a -37C windchill, put your rain suit off and SMILE, we will trade, its been a long winter so far, our coldest on record for the last 20 years.

Makes me worry about this years Summer.. shortest ever on record possibly? I didn't get much riding at all last year because it wasn't warm or dry enough till late May.

Ricochet. We get rain 8 months of the year here and that's with a good summer. If you want the rain then you can have it mate.

But... but! You could choose to ride in it with some rain gear if you really wanted to... We still have parts of the city here literally encased in 3 inches of ice, and mounds of snow up to 6 feet high... I am sure you would rather have the rain too

We have no pavement showing. Our 4 lanes streets are two in width with the snow bank replacing the outer lane. One of the coldest winters in years. This week it averaged -30C every morning with wind chills below -40C. Today it warmed up to -11.......HEAT WAVE :)

Feeling better about PNW (Pacific North West) weather. Tempt in the 30 to 40 range. No snow or even rain, just endless clouds. With a minimum of 37 to 40 degrees and sun I be on a ride.
