The Triumph era is over...for now.

Dave...wrong.

As for the bigger mil HD's...HD is serving up 120's with no warranty. My friend had to install a lot of heavier duty engine / transmission componets plus a Baker 1 and a half quart oil pan just to keep the temperatures down. Since they are not playing with radiators they will have a lot of trouble getting them certified with the EPA and that is going to be even harder for those "bigger" close to Rocket sized engines.

If I remember right most of the previous big mil engines in the v-twin mode do not behave very well and are fraught (there's a word for ya) with lots of problems...resales are terrible on them for that reason. And only if you customize it to the max will you have a somewhat minimal chance of getting any long term use out of the engine unless you ride it like someone like...Scot in Exile or someone else along those lines:D.

Too funny....Scott eh? .....:D

P.S. Note: the 135's are NOT street legal and are thus designated "race" engines. They are an HD exclusive offering but EPA green lighting will be problematic methinks as well, MM. Still...inevitably...we will soon be seeing bookkeepers, dentists and an occasional REAL motorcyclist equipping their HDs with these power-plants before too long I'll wager! Yikes!

Not for this old fossil however. I still like a little bite in my chili, so to speak. Maybe I'd go with a Ducati Streetfighter S or the awesome Aprilia Tuono V4 R! Screamin' cool machines to say the least!

The Diavel wasn't bad but I couldn't see me in that kind of sitting position for long periods of time...but it was plenty fasto.

Dave will figure it out soon enough I'm sure, it's like twisting the Rubik's cube. Just have to twist it into the right configuration and he will come up with the right combo eventually and figure out which bike I am getting.

Just put $9,000 more down on it today (in addition to my $1,000 deposit) so when I get back from my trip next week hopefully it will be ready.

That was in the running at one time. Decided while I can still ride two wheels I better keep doing it...the time for a Spyder will come soon enough unless someone else comes up with a better trike...but that's probably 10 years off or so (I hope) when I turn 70.
