If anyone is going East don't use Highway 16 it's closed due to a forest fire. We gotta backtrack about an hour 
Update time on my front tire, because it's "funny". As some will know, during our ride I started showing wire on my front tire, noticed in Sheridan, WY.
We checked every remote possibility in this one horse town; no joy. Forcing me to get it shipped here.
Motorcycle superstore had a better price than Rocky Mountain ATV this time, though they had us go through their sister store, J&P. Ordered it over night (by special arrangement) on Wed.
Thurs morning, nothing had shipped yet.
I called; they were about to ship it normal ground. After some talking, they said they would get it overnighted.
6 hours later that day, no shipping confirmation; me, back on the phone.
Sure enough it hadn't gone out. They had 2 hrs before it would be too late to overnight for Friday, making it a Monday delivery.
They were "working on it".
So I called Rocky Mountain ATV, asking about overnight. No problem .... as long as it is going to the billing address. Company policy to only overnight to the billing address; no exceptions. Their other delivery option to Sheridan would have made it Monday too. Gee, thanks.
The bright side, J&P was able to get it out. Delivery expected next day, Friday. Yes!
Nothing wrong with Sheridan, but I'm ready to go.
Next morning I see this on UPS' tracking site:
"We were unable to load the package on the plane as scheduled. / Delivery will be rescheduled for Saturday."
Son of a ...... ok, whatever, Saturday. Still better than that Monday crap.
I call UPS to make sure the driver knows he's delivering to a UPS store and that everyone has my contact info.
Saturday morning ... UPS' site shows delivery date of Monday. MONDAY!?!?
This quickly earns a phone call to UPS. Looks like when I called about the package on Friday, to make sure they had my phone, etc that had somehow been set in their system as an "address change", which causes an automatic delay in shipping!
So here I sit, Saturday morning, realizing I have to go extend my hotel stay .... again .... and be stuck here till Monday, when I find out in what other saying I'm getting screwed.
Should be at work on Monday, but this is much better. I can tour the area, go all over town, etc. Oh wait, no front tire ...................

What a freekin bummer! Almost always, if I order something I want right away, it gets screwed up somehow. Something I don't care about shows up 2 or 3 days after I order it! Go figger ??? I've bought all my motorcycle tires from Motorcycle Superstore. ALWAYS super FAST shipping via UPS. Usually 2 days.
