OK - guys - passed along couple of numbers and your location - he's probably riding at the moment so maybe hasn't seen the messages yet
We had quite the adventure this last week - he rode over from Indiana (nr Chicago) for the WSBK races at Laguna Seca
Got call from him on way home in SouthEast CA nr NV - he had generator issues.
I had him check stator, it was bad and he ordered overnight
Then put bike in Uhaul and drove 400 miles to my house!
Stator arrived bright & early Wed - awesome!
Got it in and producing 14V at idle - perfect - worrisome however was the Sprag was not acting well (a result of being operated on low battery volts)
Decided to risk it & set off
Got only about 80 miles and problems with generator system again
Told him to disconnect both lights and he just made it back to house.
First thing, the fuse on R/R output was blown; put in new one and it produced 14V again! But then realized headlights still disconnected - plugged them in & dropped to 12.2V - yeeuch
Good news, new stator was still fine!
Now its 5:15pm - nearest bike salvage is in next town, closes at 6pm
We shot over there, raked through dozens of bins till find a Regulator I can make work.
Get back, swap connectors around and fire it up - perfect 14V at idle again!
However Sprag completely gone now - had to bump start it just to get the idle reading.
It's now about 8pm ...........
Called a friend with a Sprint - BIG ask !!!! - can we steal your Sprag?
Sure - no problem - come on over.
Got back, installed it & at 11pm fired up instantly.
As I say quite the saga!!! - But it has behaved flawlessly over last 4 days and has got him to 'your neighborhood!'

I only just realized this morning that you guys would be crossing paths!
I told him what a fabulous community this is - hope he makes the connection
